George Na'ope Hawaiian Hula Tours
In April 2004, Uncle George Na'ope conducted Hawaiian Hula tours that embraced the sites, history, and folklore of Ka'ū and it’s people. Through the arts of hula, this tour was developed to acquaint participants with the Ka'ū district on the Big Island of Hawai'i. This tour took participants to Kailua-Kona, Keauhou, South Kona, Pāhala, Punalu'u, Ka Lae, and Kïlauea. This tour allowed participants to have a hand-on account of traditions, culture, and hula lifestyle. It also gave participants the opportunity to see areas where many songs originated.
